MANO CORNUTO CHARM
MANO CORNUTO CHARM
ABOUT THIS ITEM:
MANO CORNUTO MEANING:
The mano cornuto is an Italian amulet of ancient origin. Mano means "hand" and corno means "horn." The charm represents a hand gesture in which the index and little fingers are extended while the middle and ring fingers are curled into the palm. The reference is to the horned head of an animal. The mano cornuto is used for magical protection against the evil eye. In this it resembles other hand gestures and hand images that ward off evil, including the hamsa hand, the eye-in-hand, the mano fico (fig hand), and the interlocked thumb gesture.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF ME:
Proper jewelry care is essential in order to keep your jewelry looking beautiful for years. To minimize wear, avoid wearing your jewelry while performing activities where they may get damaged, scratched or come in contact with chemicals. We advice to take off your jewelry when you are sleeping, showering or swimming.
Please avoid contact with chemical substances including hairspray, cosmetics, perfumes and chlorines. Please keep in mind that proper storing and usage are essential to maintain the jewelry in good condition. Gold plated items must not be polished with cloths, as this will wear away the surface area. Plated items will fade off in time with regular wear and tear.
